Are we lazy or demotivated?

First of all, I think that we are lazy, included me, because sometimes we are more interested about things that are not important. For example, nowadays all the people are worried about football, and our priorities are put aside.
Many times other things are “more important” that study, for example, we can think that is more interesting going out with the friends, watching TV or using the computer all the time looking irrelevant things.
As normal people, sometimes we have bad days for different reasons, maybe problems with the family, maybe health, but some problems that can affect us in some ways in the studies, because we don’t pay attention in classes.
I think that sometimes teachers are very disappointed of us, because they try to prepare a good class with activities and we just don’t answer.
We have to think that in the future we are going to be teacher, and we would feel so sad if our students are not interested in us.
I think that there are people who are demotivated, but the rest is lazy.
We have to emphasize our priorities and doing our best to reach good results.

Are schools killing the creativity?

If you were a student, you would have to know that in the school mathematics and language are more important than art or music; this is because our society thinks that these subjects will help us more than music or art in the future.
I think the same thing that Ken Robinson said in the video that I watched, schools are killing the creativity, because they don’t give importance to subjects which wake up our creativity.
I’m really convinced that subjects like art or music have the same importance than the other ones.
I think that if we are studying to be professionals, we have to be creative people and this kind of subject help us a lot. We have to develop our creative since we are kids.
For example, I’m studying for being teacher, and I need creativity to do my classes in the future, but If I didn’t develop my imagination when I was a child, it will be harder now when I already grew up.
Schools should respect all kind of talent that children have, and also schools should improve everyday all kind of thing that we can do. What I mean is that schools should improve our abilities and also give us more skills to do our best in the future.

My favorite piece of art.

Some people think that art is something related to paintings, or maybe going to a gallery and see pictures or drawings, but I think that it’s more than that.
Art for me is everything, that’s the reason why I consider art like music, paintings, theater, etc.
If you ask me, I have a piece of art that makes me feel special and strange things. This is a piece of music by an important musician called Beethoven.
The name of the piece is “Moonlight Sonata” and I really enjoy it when I listen to it.
This piece of music has 3 parts, even though I haven’t read about the meaning of each part, I can imagine some things about I can listen, for example: the first part is very slow, and this part can represent the feelings of the artist. Maybe he was living a sad moment when he created that one, but this is what I can feel.
The second part is faster than the other one, and I can feel that the artist was feeling something better, I guess. I don’t know, but it’s a little bit complicated to interpret something that other person tries to show us.
The third part is so fast and strong; I think that the artist tries to represent anger or something like that.

I hope you listen to it.

Orlan's ideas.

I’m very surprised because of the video that show us the “ART” that Orlan propose us.
In my opinion, the video is horrible. Orlan works are not art for me; I just think that she is a crazy person who wants to call the attention.
Although there are many expressions of art, I think that all the things that I saw in the video are a completely madness.
There is only one thing that I agree with her; she says that exhibitionist is expressing the ideas and I think that exhibitionist isn’t only showing our body or things like that. Actually, I think that it’s more than that. She says that singers, actor are exhibitionist, because they express their ideas and I agree with that. There are many ways to show our ideas.
Although Orlan work didn’t like me, I respect her, because we are free and we can also express our ideas in different ways like her.

Teaching, my vocation.

Firstly, I have to say that the thing which called my attention was that most of the students who take the test fail.
It really disappointed me, because teachers are very important in the life of the children. Almost everything that we learn come from the teachers, they are the base in our education with our parents. So, I think that our education will never be better if institutes or universities create bad teachers.
When I was in the school, I wasn’t in a municipal school, and I remember that I had very good teachers who really taught me a lot.
Also I had teacher that were not good, and I think that state has to supervise or be stricter in relation with the education or when institutes and universities admit students to learn pedagogy.
In my opinion, pedagogy is something beautiful, where you can transmit you knowledge to other people.
It’s a big responsibility to be teacher due to student believe in you, they believe that you are the person who teaches real thing, true things.
I think people who study pedagogy because they didn’t reach a good score in PSU, and pedagogy is the only career they can study.
There are many universities which didn’t demand a good score in the PSU, and I think that that is a horrible mistake, because although PSU is not a good test to prove you knowledge, it helps to choose students who really know the basic knowledge.
I think that I’ll be a good teacher, because for me teach is everything, children are our future, and we have to improve everyday our education. I want to put my sand granite :D.

In the section quizzes I made activities with crosswords where you can choose the topic which you want to work.
For example, I choose to make an activity about the Beatles and I could find it.
There are many possibilities to find topics which really interest you.
I recommend this page for all the people who want to learn English. There are many of basic exercises, and also exercises which are more difficult.

My experience about my study habits.

Actually, I don’t have study habits, because I try to study when I have time or when i don’t have other activities. I think that a study habits is something important that is constantly. You have to dedicate time everyday I don’t do that.

I study, but not everyday, not all the time, so I think that i don’t have study habits.

I study carefully 3 or 4 days per week, but I think that this time is not enough to improve my English as I want

However, I try to check my notes constantly, because they help me to don’t forget all the thing that I learn in class.

When I was in the school I didn’t have study habits, but today I study more than when I was in the school.

In comparison with other subjects, English is the most important. I mean, I try to do my best in this subject but it doesn’t mean that the others are not important.

Well this is some information about my study habits. I hope I can improve them in a short time.

Best regards.
